Unfortunately, we all know it—and the results of the FUB’s recent bicycle survey confirmed it—one of the main obstacles to the growth of cycling remains the fear of having your beloved bike stolen.

It was on this premise that the young Lyon-based start-up WheelsKeep was founded. Its founder, Mathieu Labey, came up with an interesting concept: creating bicycle parking areas (or using existing ones)—nothing new so far. But the “garde-roues” concept goes further, as it places a real person on site, dedicated to monitoring this parking area—a keeper.
