The people of Lyon gathered at Place Bellecour for the first Bike Festival organized by the Lyon Metropolitan Area. The now renowned Cargo Bike Festival was a perfect fit for the festival.
A cargo bike is a two- or three-wheeled vehicle that allows families to travel together or to transport loads: groceries, furniture, tools, or materials for work. And with the latest cargo bike models, carrying capacity is (almost) unlimited. The first Bike Festival, and the Cargo Bike Festival in particular, proved this point.
As we do since 3 years, 2025’s session should also be noted that two free and secure bicycle parking areas were made available in Place of Bellecour, guarded by Wheelskeep, now well known in the field of guarded parking.
